RATES

Rates are inclusive of all taxes. Rates do not include Service Charge. Rates are subject to change without prior notice. Regardless of a deposit or full payment having been made, any increase in the rates must also be paid by the customer. If such increase is unacceptable, the customer retains the right to cancel his/her booking. However, attention is drawn to the possibility that some cancellation charges may be imposed.

For some Special Events and Holidays, rates quoted may be above normal rates. Should any Special Events or Holiday dates change or new rates apply, we will notify you of such changes and invoice you at the revised rate. Such revised rates may be applied to all bookings, including those made prior to the change.

Special discounts such as Senior Citizen discounts may not be applied on top of special promotional discounted rates.

RESERVATION AND CANCELLATION POLICY

To secure a room reservation with Kapuluan Vista Resort, an advance deposit is required. Reservation requests must be secured with a deposit into the resort’s bank account or cash accepted by the hotel. The deposit amount is:

  • ONE HUNDRED PERCENT (100%) of the accommodation charge.

Changes to the arrival date, departure date, or room type of this reservation are subject to the hotel’s availability at the time the change is requested and may result in a possible rate change and/or service fee. If you do not arrive as scheduled, you will FORFEIT THE ENTIRE DEPOSIT. The CANCELLATION DEADLINE is one (1) week before arrival date. Cancellations made prior to the DEADLINE will receive a full refund. If cancellation is made after the DEADLINE, your ENTIRE DEPOSIT WILL NOT BE REFUNDED.

CHECK IN

Only the person(s) named on the reservation may check in. You must present a valid identification card, the bank deposit slip and a confirmation number. A deposit of Php 1,500 per room is required. You will receive your deposit upon check out less any charges for loss or damage items.

CHECK IN & CHECK OUT TIME

Check in time is 2:00 PM. Check out time is 12:00 PM. The hotel reserves the right to charge for periods when the room is occupied outside their normal check in and check out time. In case of early check out or shortening of stay, NO REFUND will be made.

PAYMENT

Your accommodation payment in full is due at check in, if a full payment was not received. All other charges may be paid at check out. We accept cash and credit cards (Visa and Mastercard).

HOLY WEEK

Holy week (the last week of Lent and the week before Easter) is restricted to a three (3) night minimum stay. We may decline certain dates of arrival during these time periods without prior notice.

AMIHAN SEASON

Pagudpud’s “Amihan Season” is during the northeast monsoon (mainly November-February). During this time, the climate is cold, windy and wet. Please bring appropriate attire for this type of weather.

PETS

Pets are welcome at the resort for a fee per pet per day, but they must be “potty-trained.” As a responsible pet owner you will be asked to keep your pet on a leash at all times. Please do not leave pet unattended in the rooms. Clean after your pet and keep it quiet in consideration of other guests. You will be liable for any damage caused by your pet.

NO OUTSIDE FOOD/SNACKS/BEVERAGE ALLOWED

Outside food and/or beverages are not permitted in the resort.

FIREARMS

Shooting of fireworks and carrying of firearms are prohibited.

SWIMMING POOL AND RESTAURANT HOURS

The swimming pool and restaurant are open from 7:00 AM-10:00 PM.

TRANSPORTATION

We offer transportation to and from the Laoag International Airport. We also offer daily tours around Pagudpud and Ilocos Norte Region.

PITCHING OF TENTS

By MUNICIPAL ORDINANCE, the pitching of tents and picnic sheds within the salvage zones of all beaches within the territorial jurisdiction of Pagudpud is strictly prohibited.

BONFIRES

By ORDINANCE: Bonfires within the salvage zones of all beaches within the territorial jurisdiction of Pagudpud is strictly prohibited.

HOUSEKEEPING POLICY

Place only the soiled towels in the laundry basket to be collected and replaced. Should you wish to have your beddings changed anytime during your stay, please inform the housekeeper or place the dirty linen in the laundry basket. Turn off water faucets, lights, television, air-conditioner and any other electrical device after each use. We respect your privacy. Rooms are only made up if a request has been made.

DAMAGES

Please report any accidental damages so that it can be corrected promptly. This includes any soiled bedding or linens so that they may be cleaned.

CONSERVING ELECTRICITY

Turn off water faucets, lights, television, air conditioner and any other electrical device after each use.

KEY

Please surrender your room key upon check out.

LIFEGUARD ON DUTY

Certified Lifeguards are available at Kapuluan Vista Resort. Novice surfers are not permitted to rent surfboards without the supervision of an instructor. We reserve the right to decline rentals to guests if we feel that the conditions are not suitable. The resort is not liable for accidents due to recreational activities, especially those inflected outside the perimeters of Kapuluan Vista Resort.

NON-SMOKING

All rooms and the restaurant are non-smoking.

TRASH

Please dispose all trash in the trash bins.

QUIET TIME

10:30 PM to 7:00 AM, please keep the noise down! Respect your neighbor’s right to sleep. Excessive noise during daytime hours is also prohibited-help us maintain the serenity and peacefulness of the area. In addition, the use of community walkways to the beach, and use of the beach shall be sufficiently quiet and peaceful so as not to disturb the other residents of the neighborhood and their guests in the enjoyment of their vacation and facilities of the resort.

VISITORS

Visitors are allowed until 10:00 PM.

VEHICLE PARKING

All vehicles must be parked in the designated parking area.

AIR CONDITIONING AND WATER HEATER

Please do not tamper with the air conditioners or heaters. If you are having difficulty heating your shower or cooling your room, come ask for help! Please do not use the heater and/or the air conditioner when the generator is in use due to an electricity failure.

SWIMMING POOL RULES

  • All guests must be rinsed off before going in the pool.
  • No cotton shirts or shorts allowed.
  • No shoes, flip-flops, sandals and any other footwear in the pool.
  • Drinks and food are not permitted in the swimming pool area.
  • Children under the age of 12 must be accompanied with an adult at all times.
  • Walking or rinsing off of feet or equipment in the swimming pool gutter is prohibited.
  • No running.
  • No diving or jumping.
  • Depth of pool: 3 feet to 5 feet.

RESPONSIBILITY AND LIABILITY

The customer is obliged to take good care of resort property and rented equipment and to protect them from damage, loss or theft. If any of the mentioned situations occur during your stay and/or the rental period, the customer will be charged at the moment for the full cost of repair materials and labor fees if equipment is repairable or the full cost of the damaged item(s). At the end of your rental period, our resort representative will determine the conditions of the rented materials. In case of loss or theft of the equipments, components or any other accessories, the resort will charge the customer the full cost of the missing item(s) at market price.

All facilities are used at your own risk. The equipment, apparatus and facilities are furnished solely for the convenience of registered guests and all persons using the same do so at their risk. The resort will not be responsible for accidents, injuries or loss of property by theft, wind or act of God. Kapuluan Vista Resort is not liable for bodily injury or even deaths as a result of but not limited to: accidents caused by equipments with or without staff supervision; physical exertion for which a guest is not prepared; forces of nature; lack of or limited access to medical attention in remote locations; travel by auto, boat, tricycle or other conveyance; consumption of alcoholic beverages; breakdown of equipment; and the adequacy of medical attention once provided.

Guests grant Kapuluan Vista Resort permission to take photographs or make film records of its trips for promotional and commercial use, as well as approve such use by third parties without financial remuneration.

FAILURE TO COMPLY WITH ANY POLICIES, RULES AND GUIDELINE MAY RESULT IN YOUR LEAVING THE RESORT WITH NO REFUND AND FUTURE RESERVATIONS BEING CANCELLED.
